The Viega 90260 is a straight stainless steel adapter that joins a 1/2 in press-fit connection to a 1/2 in FNPT thread. It is intended for potable water systems where a secure, leak-free joint is required without soldering or threading the pipe itself. Fits 1/2 in Press and FNPT Lines

Side A accepts a 1/2 in press-fit pipe while Side B provides a 1/2 in female national pipe thread for threaded components. The straight adapter shape keeps the run inline, so it frees up space compared with elbow fittings and eliminates the need for a separate nipple and coupling. No bolt holes or flange surfaces are present, simplifying the joint.

Holds 200 psi at 250 Degrees F

The 316 grade stainless steel body and EPDM O-ring maintain a seal up to 200 psi working pressure and 250 degrees Fahrenheit continuous temperature. Under sustained pressure and heat the material resists creep and the O-ring retains elasticity, so the joint remains tight during long heating cycles or extended service periods.
