Fixed low-profile TV wall mount

The VideoSecu MP146B-A2 is a fixed-position bracket for flat-panel televisions from 26 to 50 inches. It supports screens up to 110 lbs and fits VESA patterns from 100x100 mm up to 400x400 mm, plus any hole spacing within 100–430 mm wide and 100–410 mm high. The black steel construction holds the screen just 1 inch from the wall for a clean, flush appearance. Installers who need tilt, swivel or full-motion articulation should choose a different mount style.

Thermals noise and power

This is a passive mechanical mount with no moving parts, fans or electrical components, so it generates no heat, no audible noise and draws zero power. The solid steel arms and wide wall plate distribute the load across two studs spaced up to 16 inches apart, keeping the assembly stable without active cooling. Because there are no motors or electronics, long-term reliability depends only on the integrity of the wall fasteners and the steel frame.

Build quality and daily use

Heavy-duty steel with a smooth black finish provides strength and a low-profile look that suits modern living spaces. Quick-release tabs on both mounting arms stay hidden until pulled down, allowing the screen to be lifted off the wall plate for cable access without tools. A built-in bubble level on the wall plate helps achieve a straight installation on the first attempt. The mount does not fit 42-inch or larger televisions manufactured before 2013 due to their wider mounting patterns.
