Each unit uses a 1/3" Sony Effio CCD sensor to deliver up to 700 TV lines of horizontal resolution. The varifocal 3.5~8 mm lens lets installers adjust the field of view on site. Cameras are rated for indoor or outdoor use with a weatherproof white housing.

Varifocal lens and infrared array extend coverage

Seventeen infrared LEDs on each camera provide night vision that switches automatically from colour daytime images to black-and-white after dark. The 3.5~8 mm varifocal lens allows the installer to choose a wider or narrower angle without swapping hardware. A free warning sticker is included in the box for deterrent signage.

BNC wiring and 12 V DC power required

Every camera needs a direct BNC video run back to the DVR and a separate DC 12 V power source; neither a DVR nor power supplies are included. The integrated bracket conceals cables to reduce tampering, but the installer must still route and terminate coaxial cable for each of the eight units. This kit is not compatible with HD or IP recording systems.
