The 12 mil polyethylene material provides a durable barrier that resists tearing and fading under direct sunlight. Thermal performance and chemical limits

The closed bubble design limits evaporation by up to 95 percent and can raise water temperature by 8 to 15 degrees Celsius depending on conditions. The cover insulates the pool at night to preserve daytime heat gain. The manufacturer recommends maintaining chlorine levels below 2.5 ppm and pH above 7.2 to prevent material degradation. No electrical connection or moving parts are involved, so operation is silent and adds no power draw.

Build fit and handling

The cover weighs 17.31 kilograms and measures 10.97 by 5.49 metres when unfolded. It ships folded and requires manual placement over the water surface. No reels, anchors or additional hardware are included, so the buyer must supply a storage method and any tie-downs needed for windy sites. The lightweight polyethylene allows two people to position it without mechanical assistance, but a single person may find the wet weight difficult to manage.
