The VEVOR retractable side awning spans 160 by 300 centimetres and uses 280 g/m² polyester with a PU coating. It provides UV 30+ protection while blocking wind and rain for patios, balconies or garden boundaries. The aluminium alloy frame is powder coated for corrosion resistance and includes a 2° pole tilt to reduce fabric sag. A spring-loaded handle allows smooth extension and retraction.

Mounting Surface and Fixings

Verify that the wall or post can accept the two U-shaped aluminium brackets and the supplied expansion hardware. The kit includes four external hex expansion screws, four cross self-tapping screws and four expansion pipes plus an internal hex wrench. Ensure the structure is solid enough for a 7.5 kg assembly and that the 160 cm width fits the intended span without obstruction.

Upgrade From Fixed Panels

This awning replaces permanent screens or basic tarps that cannot be adjusted once installed. The jump is worthwhile when you need variable coverage throughout the day or want to store the fabric out of sight during harsh weather. It is not suited for buyers who require a fully enclosed canopy, side walls on multiple edges or a freestanding frame without wall attachment.
