PTO Slip Clutch for Tractor Implements

The VEVOR PTO slip clutch protects driveline components by limiting torque transfer between the tractor and rotary cutter. It allows the two shaft halves to rotate at different speeds when an obstruction is encountered, preventing damage to the gearbox and PTO shaft. This attachment suits operators running rotary cutters, brush hogs or similar implements behind tractors rated between 20 and 55 horsepower.

Rated Torque 900 Nm Adjustable Spring Tension

The single specification that determines fit is the rated torque of 900 Nm, adjustable across a 20 to 55 hp range by changing the spring compression. Both male and female ends share a 1 3/8 inch round bore with a 1/2 inch pinhole, matching standard Category 1 PTO shafts. The carburised 20CrMnTi steel body and replaceable friction discs maintain consistent slip performance over time.

Handles 20 to 55 HP Implements Comfortably

The clutch comfortably handles rotary cutters and brush hogs powered by tractors within the 20 to 55 hp adjustment window, slipping smoothly to absorb shock loads from stones or dense vegetation. It runs out of headroom when implement demand exceeds the 900 Nm torque limit or when the tractor output surpasses 55 hp, at which point a higher-capacity clutch becomes necessary.
