This 27-inch fire pit cover lid is made from SUS304 stainless steel for rust resistance and heat endurance. It fits round, flat-bottomed fire pits and prevents sparks and ash from escaping while the fire burns. The cover also doubles as a tabletop surface for bowls, plates or cups when the fire is out. Suitable for backyard patios and camping use.

Mesh Design Limits Spark Containment

The mesh lid blocks larger embers but fine ash and smoke pass through the openings. It does not seal the fire pit, so airflow continues and the fire cannot be smothered by the cover alone. The 0.8 mm to 1.0 mm steel thickness resists warping under high heat but the screen is not a solid heat shield. Wind can still lift the lightest particles through the mesh.

Check Pit Diameter and Shape Before Ordering

Measure the inner diameter of your fire pit to confirm it matches the 27-inch / 686 mm cover size. The lid sits on a flat, circular rim; tapered, square or irregular bowls will not support it securely. Ensure at least 90 mm of vertical clearance above the rim for the lid height. The cover weighs 8.8 lbs and requires a stable, level surface.
