The 150 W motor runs from a 14.8 V 2500 mAh lithium-ion pack, delivering speeds from 600 to 1400 rpm in five steps. In typical cutting of soft fabric the current draw stays modest and the housing remains cool to the touch. The safety lock prevents accidental starts while changing blades or adjusting material. No fan is fitted so acoustic output is limited to the gear and blade noise at the selected speed.

Behaviour Under Sustained Load

When cutting continuously at the higher speed settings through the full 1.1 inch capacity the motor maintains torque without stalling, and the spring-loaded lower blade with hard alloy tip resists fabric binding. The battery supports extended sessions and can be swapped with the second pack while the first recharges on the 100-240 V charger. The alloy steel blade holds its edge through long runs and can be touched up with the included sharpening stone.
