Each set pairs a ratchet load binder with a ten-foot Grade 80 chain, delivering a combined working load limit of 9200 lbs for the binder and 7000 lbs for the chain. Manganese Steel Construction

The binder body uses manganese steel and cast steel for durability, while the 3/8-inch chain is forged from G80 carbon steel with a breaking strength of 30000 lbs. The ratchet mechanism adjusts between 23.23 and 30.31 inches, allowing precise tensioning without excess slack. At 16.54 inches wide and 54.01 lbs total weight per pair, the kit fits standard stake pockets and stores flat when not deployed.

Replaces Improvised Strapping

This kit upgrades from rope, light-duty straps or mismatched binder-and-chain combinations that cannot guarantee the 4172 kg binder rating or 3175.15 kg chain rating. The jump is worth it when loads approach the 7000 lb chain working limit or when regulations require certified Grade 80 components. It is not suited for overhead lifting, continuous outdoor exposure without inspection, or applications requiring longer reach than the ten-foot chain provides.
