Steel enclosure for outdoor electrical gear

This carbon-steel enclosure measures 16 x 12 x 6 inches and carries an IP66 rating plus NEMA 1, 2, 4, 4X and 12 compliance. The 1.5 mm cold-rolled body with epoxy-polyester powder coating resists corrosion in factories, construction sites and exposed residential areas. A lockable hinged cover and foam sealing strip keep water and dust out when the door is opened. It ships with two keys and a detachable 2 mm galvanised backplate.

Mounting plate and wall brackets simplify

The 13.8 x 9.8 inch galvanised backplate is pre-fitted and lifts out for bench wiring of DIN-rail gear, terminal blocks or small controllers. Four wall-mounting pendants are included so the box can be fixed directly to masonry or structural steel without extra brackets. The hinged door swings clear, giving full access to the 15.6 x 11.7 x 4.6 inch internal cavity for cable routing and future maintenance.
