Red 5 m 5630 SMD LED string light

This 5 metre strip carries 300 5630 SMD LEDs spaced at 60 per metre in a fixed red colour. It runs on 12 V DC and is aimed at DIY decorators who want a simple, cuttable accent line for indoor or sheltered outdoor projects. The reel is supplied without a power supply, controller or remote, so the buyer must provide a suitable 12 V source.

Cuttable every three LEDs with self-adhesive backing

The strip can be trimmed at the marked three-LED intervals without damaging the remaining sections, allowing custom lengths up to the full 5 m. A factory-applied adhesive tape enables quick mounting on smooth, clean, dry surfaces such as cabinets, showcases or signage, but the tape is not strong enough for rough or uneven textures and may fail on sharp edges. An IP65 rating protects the LEDs against dust and low-pressure water jets, though the product must not be submerged.

12 V DC series limit and thermal envelope

In a single DC series circuit the strip must not exceed 5 m, so longer runs require parallel wiring or additional power injection points. Operating temperature ranges from -20 °C to 50 °C, and the LEDs produce only 3-4 lumens each with very low heat output, reducing fire risk in enclosed decorative cavities. No battery, lead, mercury, UV or IR emissions are present, but the installer must observe the cutting lines and avoid bending the strip at sharp angles.
