The Vantrue E1-G is a 1.5 inch mini dash cam that records at 2592x1944P 30FPS, 2560x1440P HDR 30FPS or 1920x1080P 60FPS. A Sony CMOS sensor and F1.8 aperture lens with a 139 degree diagonal view capture road detail in a small form factor. Built-in GPS logs speed, location and route data for evidence. Voice control in four languages and a remote controller allow hands-free operation while driving.

Replaces basic cams lacking GPS or Wi-Fi

Upgrading from a simple loop-recording camera adds GPS tracking, 2.4G Wi-Fi for live view and settings via a free smartphone app, and buffered motion detection. The jump is worth it when you need speed and location stamps on footage, wireless clip downloads without removing the card, or a super capacitor that survives extreme temperatures better than a battery. Parking mode activates automatically after the ignition is turned off.

Sustained recording with super capacitor power

The capacitor design supports continuous operation in high heat and freezing cold without battery degradation. Parking mode runs 24 hours on a hardwire kit drawing 12V-24V or 5V 2.4A, using buffered motion detection to save clips before and after an event. Auto LCD off keeps the camera recording while the 1.5 inch screen stays dark, reducing distraction and power draw during long trips. Supports microSD cards up to 512GB.
