This nickel-plated brass adapter joins 1/4″ OD tubing to a 1/4″ MNPT thread using a push-to-connect end on one side and a tapered pipe thread on the other. Sustained pressure and temperature limits

The fitting is rated for continuous operation up to 250 psi and 160 °F, so it handles standard residential and light commercial pressure without creeping leaks. Brass construction and the push-fit seal maintain integrity through thermal cycling, provided the system stays within these published limits. Exceeding either rating can compromise the seal or deform the collet.

Installation notes and common issues

Push the tube fully into the push-fit end until it seats against the internal stop; no tools or separate sealant are required on the tube side. The MNPT thread needs appropriate pipe thread sealant or tape, which is not supplied with the adapter. Undersized tube OD, debris on the tube end, or insufficient thread engagement are the typical causes of leaks.
