Rated life is 300 hours under typical stage use.

Output capacity and thermal limits

At 750W the lamp provides high-intensity output suitable for key lighting and projection applications where maximum punch is required. The compact 6-C8 filament geometry improves optical efficiency in ETC Source Four fixtures by up to 20 percent over earlier designs. The 300-hour rating means frequent replacement is expected on long-running productions or high-duty cycles. Output drops as the filament ages and envelope blackening increases.

Fixture integration and clearance

The T6 envelope measures 0.72 inches in diameter and 4.09 inches maximum overall length, fitting the tight optical chambers of ellipsoidal reflector spotlights. The G9.5 base with heat sink requires a socket rated for 750W at 230V and adequate fixture ventilation to manage heat. It is used in the ARRI ARRILITE 750 Plus and similar HPL-spec fixtures.
