One Cable for Two Connector Types

The UseBean cable combines a USB-C to USB-C lead with a detachable USB-C female to USB-A male adapter, giving you both a C-to-C and an A-to-C connection in a single 6.6 ft grey braided cable. It is aimed at users who charge and sync phones, tablets or laptops across mixed port environments without carrying separate cables. The male-to-male design plugs directly into host and device ports, while the adapter extends compatibility to older USB-A chargers and hubs.

Thermals Noise and Power Draw

The copper conductors support up to 240 W at 48 V / 5 A when used in C-to-C mode, and 60 W at 20 V / 3.1 A in A-to-C mode, with no active cooling or moving parts so operation is silent. Power delivery scales with the attached charger and device, so actual draw varies by hardware. The cable itself generates no audible noise and adds negligible thermal load during normal charging or data sessions.

Build Quality and Daily Connectivity

A nylon braided jacket protects the copper cores from abrasion and kinking during repeated coiling and transport. The USB 3.2 Gen 2 C-to-C link delivers up to 20 Gbps data and 4K at 60 Hz video output when the host port supports DP Alt Mode, while the A-to-C path is limited to 10 Gbps and carries no video signal. The adapter lets you plug into legacy USB-A ports, but maximum speed and power require a native USB-C receptacle.
