Two-Way Radio Earpiece Kit

2-Pin K Connector Limits

The 2-pin K interface carries mono audio and a single PTT signal, so it cannot support stereo monitoring or separate audio routing. Pin spacing and keying are fixed by the radio manufacturer, meaning the plug will not mate with single-pin, multi-pin or proprietary connectors found on some commercial or marine sets. Gold plating reduces contact resistance but does not change the electrical specification of the interface.
