62mm Star Filter Kit for Creative Photography

The Urth Stellar Filter Kit provides three starburst filters in 4-point, 6-point and 8-point variations. They are designed for photographers who want to add distinctive light-ray effects to bright highlights in-camera. Each filter uses Japanese AGC optical glass with an 8-layer nano-coating for sharpness and easy cleaning. The ultra-slim magnalium rim prevents vignetting on wide-angle lenses.

Upgrade from Single-Effect

Photographers relying on a single star filter or uncoated glass gain three distinct point patterns and multi-layer coating in one kit. The jump is worth it when you regularly shoot night cityscapes, sunlight through foliage or stage lighting and want creative control over the star shape without stacking filters. The double-threaded design also allows stacking with a circular polariser or ND filter when the scene demands it.

Simple Screw-On Installation with Double Threads

Each filter threads directly onto a 62mm lens front and the front thread accepts another 62mm filter or a standard lens cap. The slim magnalium rim reduces the risk of corner darkening on wider focal lengths. The most common issue is flare when shooting directly into a strong, unobscured light source; partially blocking the light with a tree, building or subject produces cleaner starbursts.
