Unity Complete Strut Kit for Ford Taurus

This Unity kit supplies four fully assembled strut assemblies, two for the front and two for the rear, covering 1996-2007 Ford Taurus and 1996-2005 Mercury Sable sedan models. Each unit arrives with a new strut, top mount, bearing plate, bumper, insulators and coil spring already fitted. The preassembled design removes the need for spring compressors or other specialty tools during installation. It is intended for owners and technicians who want a complete, ready-to-bolt-on suspension refresh for these specific vehicles.

Replaces Worn Original Strut Assemblies Without

The kit replaces aged, leaking or sagging factory struts and springs in a single step, eliminating the labour and risk of disassembling the original units. The jump is worth it when the original dampers have lost control, springs have fatigued or top mounts are noisy, and the installer wants to avoid renting or buying a spring compressor. It is not suited for SHO or station wagon variants, nor for any model outside the listed year range, because the mounting geometry and spring rates differ on those platforms.

Limited to Listed Sedan Applications

The assemblies are engineered only for the 1996-2007 Taurus and 1996-2005 Sable sedans, so fitment on coupes, wagons, SHO models or later chassis is not supported. The coil spring rate and valving are fixed to Unity's OE-style specification for these cars, meaning the ride height and damping character cannot be adjusted after installation. Buyers who need adjustable damping, a different ride height or coverage for excluded body styles must look elsewhere.
