Direct-Fit Strut Conversion Kit

This Unity kit replaces the air-ride suspension on 2003-2008 Isuzu Ascender models, excluding V8 variants, with a passive coil-spring and twin-tube nitrogen gas-charged shock setup. The pre-assembled units arrive with OE-style top mounts, bearing plates, bumpers, insulators and coil springs already installed. It is designed for owners who want to eliminate air-compressor failures and leak-related ride-height issues without fabricating custom parts.

Bolt-On Build With No Special Tools

Each strut assembly ships fully assembled so the installer can unbolt the old air strut and fit the new unit using standard hand tools. The nitrogen gas charge and twin-tube construction are built to match factory damping rates while the included coil spring restores the original ride height. Because every wear item — mount, bearing, bumper and insulator — is new, the repair avoids the common shortcut of reusing aged hardware that leads to noise or premature wear.

Air-Ride Delete For Long-Term Reliability

The kit is intended for drivers who have experienced repeated air-spring leaks, compressor burnout or height-sensor faults and prefer a permanent mechanical solution over ongoing electronic diagnostics. It does not suit V8 Ascender models, vehicles that require adjustable ride height for towing, or owners who want to retain the factory auto-leveling function.
