20 V 2.25 A Maximum Output

The adapter reaches its full 45 W rating only at 20 V and 2.25 A, so the connected device must request this voltage profile over USB-C Power Delivery. Lower profiles of 5 V, 9 V and 15 V are limited to 3 A each. If a laptop negotiates only 15 V, the available power drops to 45 W; at 9 V it is 27 W; at 5 V it is 15 W.
