UGREEN

UGREEN Cat 8 network ethernet cable 6FT 24AWG 40Gbps 2000MHz

SKU CH-HEXC-TA969

A 24 AWG Cat 8 patch cord rated for 40 Gbps and 2000 MHz bandwidth, shielded to reduce crosstalk and fitted with RJ45 connectors for broad device compatibility

  • 40 Gbps bandwidth handles gaming and 4K streaming smoothly
  • 2000 MHz frequency reduces lag during heavy uploads and downloads
  • 24 AWG conductors lower resistance for faster, stable data transfer
  • Double shielding cuts crosstalk and external interference effectively
  • RJ45 plugs fit routers, consoles, PCs and switches universally

High-Speed Cat 8 Connectivity

This UGREEN Cat 8 Ethernet cable delivers data rates up to 40Gbps and a bandwidth of 2000MHz. It is designed for users who need reliable wired links for gaming, HD streaming, or large file transfers. The RJ45 connectors ensure broad compatibility with routers, switches, PCs, and consoles.

Shielded 24AWG Construction

The cable uses 24AWG conductors, which are thicker than 26, 30, or 32AWG alternatives for lower resistance. Each twisted pair is foil-shielded and wrapped in an overall braid screen to suppress crosstalk and external interference. A durable PVC jacket protects the assembly from wear during long-term use.

Stable Signal Performance

The comprehensive shielding structure reduces signal degradation from adjacent cables and environmental noise. This helps maintain consistent throughput and low latency during regular browsing, uploading, downloading, and online gaming sessions. The design prioritises a stable connection over unshielded or lesser-category cables.

Questions about this item

What practical speed does the Cat 8 2000MHz rating allow?

The cable supports up to 40Gbps when connected to devices that also handle 5Gbps or higher, so the actual throughput depends on the linked hardware.

What clearance does the 24AWG shielded cable with RJ45 plugs need?

At 24AWG the cord is thicker than 26, 30 or 32AWG versions, so allow a slightly wider bend radius and enough depth for the standard RJ45 connector body.

How do I seat the RJ45 plugs so the shielding stays effective?

Push each plug in until the latch clicks; a partial insert leaves the braid and foil screens ungrounded and lets crosstalk in.
