This Cat 8 extension cable adds three feet to an existing RJ45 run without reducing the link speed. It plugs directly between a router, PC, laptop, modem, console or switch and the shorter patch cord already in place. Sustained 40 Gbps throughput

The cable is rated for 40 Gbps at 2000 MHz, providing four times the bandwidth of Cat 7. Four shielded foiled twisted pairs plus an inner metal mesh layer (S/FTP) suppress crosstalk and external interference during long transfers. Backward compatibility with Cat 7, Cat 6e, Cat 6, Cat 5e and Cat 5 ensures the link remains stable even when mixed with older infrastructure.

Low-latency, interference-free operation

Double shielding keeps signal integrity high under continuous load, so gaming, HD streaming and large file uploads stay consistent.
