The Ubiquiti Networks Wave AP is a 60 GHz point-to-multipoint access point built for outdoor wireless backhaul. It uses Wave technology to deliver up to 5.4 Gbps total throughput with 2.7 Gbps duplex capacity. The sector antenna provides 30° coverage and supports links up to 8 km. A 5 GHz weatherproof backup radio adds up to 800 Mbps redundancy.
Fits a pole-mount build with 2.5 GbE and 10G SFP+
The unit mounts on a pole and connects to the network through a 2.5 GbE RJ45 port and a 10G SFP+ port. Power comes from the included 48 V DC passive PoE adapter using either four-pair or two-pair wiring. A quad-core ARM Cortex-A53 processor at 1.4 GHz with 512 MB DDR3L memory runs the UISP management stack. The 24-client capacity serves Wave Pro and Wave Long-Range stations.
Operates from -40 to 60 °C with 24 W maximum draw
Maximum power consumption is 24 W across the supported 44–54 V DC range. The UV-stabilised polycarbonate and aluminium enclosure is rated for outdoor temperatures from -40 to 60 °C and humidity up to 95 % non-condensing. LEDs show power, Ethernet and UISP connection status. A factory-reset button is accessible on the housing.
