Retrofit Motorised Blind Tilt

The Twelve 1 Ten Blind Tilt attaches to existing horizontal louvers with rotary bars between 6.2 mm and 10.2 mm, adding motorised tilt control without replacing the blind. It mounts on flat top frames wider than 3 cm and is not suited to curved or wavy surfaces. The kit includes the main unit, a solar panel, a Type-C power cable and mounting tape for a single 11.5"W blind. Buyers whose blinds use a different wand diameter or who need a complete replacement blind cannot use this device.

Sustained Operation Behaviour

A 2000 mAh lithium battery powers the high-precision motor, which adjusts slats in 2° increments for fine light management. The included solar panel recharges the battery during daylight, supporting continuous daily cycling without manual charging. An integrated light sensor automatically tilts the blind to maintain a target brightness level as outdoor conditions change. Bluetooth app control allows scheduled operation and grouping of up to four units within local range.

Thermals Noise And Power Draw

The low-voltage motor runs quietly during tilt adjustments, producing minimal audible disturbance in normal room environments. Power is drawn from the internal battery, which is trickle-charged by the solar panel under typical indoor light exposure. The Type-C cable provides a fallback wired charging option if solar input is insufficient. No active cooling or external power supply is required during regular use.
