The Tuphen bookshelf stands 22.00" high, 47.20" wide and 9.90" deep, giving a slim profile that fits tight corners or narrow walls. Seven fixed shelves run the full width, creating regular compartments for books, files, décor or office supplies. Engineered wood construction meets CARB Phase II and TSCA Title VI standards for low emissions. The unit ships flat-packed and requires full assembly using the included instructions.

Seven shelves and vertical storage headroom

Each of the seven shelves spans the 47.20" width and 9.90" depth, offering generous surface area for standard paperbacks, binders or decorative objects. The 22.00" overall height divides into roughly even tiers, so taller hardcovers or box files sit comfortably on lower shelves while smaller items occupy the upper levels. Deep or oversized volumes that exceed the shelf depth will overhang, and very heavy loads concentrated on one tier may stress the engineered wood beyond its design intent.

Assembly and material limits

Full self-assembly is required; no pre-drilled hardware or tools are supplied beyond the instruction sheet, so a basic screwdriver and patience are necessary. The engineered wood panels are finished in black laminate, which resists light scratches but can chip if impacted during assembly or moving. Because the shelves are fixed, spacing cannot be adjusted for unusually tall items, and the unit is not designed for wall-mounting or freestanding use on uneven floors without additional shimming.
