The Tripp Lite RS1215-20 distributes 120 V AC power through twelve NEMA 5-20R receptacles split evenly between the front and rear faces. Its 1 U all-metal chassis fits any standard 19-inch rack and includes detachable flanges for wall or under-counter mounting. A 15 ft input cord and lighted, guarded switch complete the unit.

20 A circuit breaker and unfiltered pass-through

The integrated 20 A breaker protects connected gear while allowing full-rated current to flow without filtering or waveform correction. This makes the strip suitable for distributing raw UPS or generator output where downstream equipment handles its own power conditioning. The 15 A continuous output rating provides headroom for dense IT loads up to the breaker limit.

NEMA 5-20R outlet standard

Each of the twelve outlets accepts NEMA 5-15P or 5-20P plugs at 120 V, 50/60 Hz. The strip does not transform voltage, regulate frequency or provide surge suppression, so equipment requiring conditioned power or other voltage levels must use separate conditioning upstream. UL 1363 and cUL listings confirm compliance with North American safety requirements.
