7 m OM3 duplex cable for 10 Gb Ethernet

The Tripp Lite N820-07M is a laser-optimised multimode fibre patch cord built for 10 Gb Ethernet links. Its aqua jacket identifies OM3-rated 50/125 µm glass that supports serial transmission at 850 nm. The cable is suited to LAN, SAN and high-speed parallel interconnects in head-ends, central offices and data centres. Backward compatibility lets it work with legacy multimode installations.

LC/LC duplex ends ready for VCSEL transceivers

Each end terminates in an LC connector so the cord plugs directly into SFP+ or QSFP+ modules that use VCSEL or LED light sources. The 7 m length (also noted as 21 ft or 23 ft in supplier data) spans typical rack-to-rack or row-to-row runs without excess slack. IEEE 802.3ae and TIA LOMMF compliance means the link meets the physical-layer requirements for 10 Gb operation up to 300 m. No adapters or conversion modules are required.

Lifetime warranty covers material and workmanship

Tripp Lite guarantees the cable against defects in material and workmanship for life. The warranty replaces the cord if the fibre, connectors or jacket fail under normal use. It does not extend to connected equipment, installation labour or incidental damage. The aqua colour coding remains the only visual identifier supplied; no additional software, labels or mounting hardware are included.
