10.5 Gbps headroom with 300 m multi-mode range

Rated throughput reaches 10.5 Gbps, giving comfortable headroom above the 10 GbE line rate for overhead and burst traffic. The 850 nm VCSEL optics are specified for up to 300 m (984 ft) on OM3 or OM4 multi-mode fibre, covering typical row-to-row and cross-aisle links. Beyond that distance the optical budget is exhausted, so metro or building-to-building runs will require alternative optics. The module does not support single-mode fibre or extended-reach multi-mode standards.

MSA-compliant build with LC duplex and DDM

Each transceiver follows the SFP+ MSA mechanical and electrical specification, ensuring latch-in retention and consistent pin-out across vendors. The duplex LC connector uses a standard push-pull action that works with existing patch cords and cassette panels. On-board Digital Diagnostics Monitoring reports real-time TX and RX power, temperature and supply voltage through the host switch, allowing proactive link-health checks without external test gear. The 0.28 kg pack weight confirms a lightweight, dense form factor for high-port-count deployments.
