The TRENDnet TC-KP24S v1.0R is a 24-port blank keystone shielded patch panel built for 1U 19" rackmount installations. Its SPCC steel construction with nickel-plated shielding protects against EMI and RFI noise. The panel accepts Cat6A shielded keystone jacks sold separately, making it suitable for gigabit and 10G copper Ethernet applications. EIA-310-D rackmount standard compliance

The panel conforms to the EIA-310-D standard for 19-inch rackmount equipment, ensuring compatibility with compliant cabinets and enclosures. Shielded performance depends on using Cat6A shielded keystone jacks and cabling together; without them the housing alone cannot eliminate EMI or crosstalk. The rear cable manager helps organise cable runs but does not replace proper bend-radius management. Maximum link distance and channel performance are governed by the cabling standard, not the panel itself.

Tool-free jack insertion with grounding step

Keystone jacks snap into the front ports without tools, while the included grounding wire must be attached to the panel’s grounding point for the shield to function. A common issue is omitting the ground connection, which leaves the shield floating and defeats EMI protection.
