Commercial Drive-Axle Tire

The Transmax OS 3000X is a highway all-season tire built for commercial vehicles and fitted to drive-axle positions. Its 245/70R19.5 size carries a 135/133 load index and an H load range rated at 16 ply. The ribbed tread pattern and silica-enhanced compound deliver year-round traction, hydroplaning resistance and stable handling in dry, wet and winter conditions. Speed rating M limits operation to 81 mph.

Upgrade From Worn Drive Tires

Fleets replacing drive-axle tires that show irregular wear, reduced tread depth or loss of wet grip will gain the 17/32 in tread depth and reinforced internal structure of this model. The jump is worth it when the current set no longer supports the 135/133 load index or when fuel consumption has risen due to increased rolling resistance. The tire is not for steer or trailer positions, nor for vehicles requiring a higher speed rating than M.

Sustained Load Behaviour

Under continuous highway loads the strengthened casing and durable rubber compound maintain shape, limiting heat build-up and uneven wear across the 33 in overall diameter.
