The TP-Link EAP772-Outdoor is a tri-band WiFi 7 access point rated for indoor and outdoor deployment. It targets network administrators who need high-density wireless coverage across yards, farms, hotels or business parks. The unit supports up to 380 connected devices across 2.4 GHz, 5 GHz and 6 GHz bands. It is not suited for buyers who only need a basic indoor extender or who lack PoE+ switching infrastructure.

Sustained Load Behaviour

Six spatial streams and 320 MHz channels on the 6 GHz band enable multi-gigabit throughput during continuous traffic such as 4K streaming or live broadcasting. Multi-Link Operation, 4K-QAM, Multi-RU and Puncturing maintain efficiency when many clients transmit simultaneously. The 2.5 GbE PoE+ uplink prevents the wired link from becoming a bottleneck. It is not designed for environments that require fibre backhaul or aggregate throughput beyond 11 Gbps.

Thermals Noise and Power

A fully sealed IP68 enclosure passively dissipates heat without fans, so the device runs silently in direct sun, rain or dust. Power is drawn solely through the PoE+ port, simplifying cabling and eliminating the need for outdoor AC outlets. Omnidirectional antennas provide up to 300 m² (3,200 ft²) of recommended coverage. The hardware is not intended for installations that require directional sector antennas or pole-mount hardware not included in the box.
