Production teams using several HERO4 cameras benefit from wireless timecode locking across the 865 to 923 MHz range, removing the need for physical cables between devices. Editors receive aligned clips immediately, reducing post-production labour. This device is not suited for users of other GoPro models or cameras lacking the specific Hero Bus interface, nor for workflows requiring wired timecode input or output connections.

12-hour battery and frame-accurate drift

The internal battery provides approximately 12 hours of continuous operation, covering a full shooting day. The TCXO generator maintains 0.5 ppm accuracy when free running, resulting in roughly 1 frame of drift over 24 hours.
