EF Mount Lens Adapter Support

The Tilta Gray bracket is a dedicated support arm for Canon EF lens adapters used on the Sony a7C. It locks onto the front of the Tiltaing Full Camera Cage to prevent adapter flex during handheld or gimbal work. The part is built from aluminium and steel but adds minimal bulk to the rig. It targets solo shooters who swap between native E-mount and adapted glass.

Thermals noise and power draw

This is a passive mechanical bracket with no electronics, fans or moving parts. It generates zero heat, emits no noise and draws no power from the camera or cage. The aluminium and steel construction simply transfers lens weight to the cage structure. Normal use adds no thermal or acoustic load to the system.

Sustained load behavior

Under continuous shooting the bracket holds the adapter firmly without creep or play. The extra point of contact keeps the mount aligned even when the rig is tilted or jostled for long takes. It is not designed to support the full weight of heavy cinema lenses without additional lens support. Builders needing that level of rigidity should add a dedicated lens foot or rod system.
