77mm Glimmer Glass 5 Filter

This Tiffen diffusion filter fits 77mm filter threads and is designed to soften fine details while adding a gentle glow to highlights. It reduces contrast for a flattering, dreamy look that suits portrait and creative photography. The distinctive silver sparkle confirms the effect is active and can help subjects feel more confident during a shoot.

Portrait and creative shooters

Photographers who want a subtle, flattering soft-focus effect will appreciate the glow and contrast reduction this filter provides. It is less suited for technical, architectural or product work where maximum sharpness and neutral rendering are required. Videographers needing a completely clean, unaltered image should consider a clear protective filter instead.

77mm thread diameter

The filter mounts directly onto any lens or matte box with a 77mm front thread, so that single measurement decides whether it fits your gear. No step-up or step-down rings are included, so verify the thread size before purchasing.
