  • Ball-head mount pivots phone to any angle without lens obstruction
  • Bracket adapts to DSLR tripod mount for versatile camera use

Complete Mobile Recording Kit

The Marshall Electronics MM-VE001 Videographer's Essentials Kit provides a complete audio and video recording solution. It is designed to work with any camera-equipped mobile phone. The kit includes the MXL FR-310 shotgun microphone with directional pickup to target front sound and reject periphery noise.

Flexible Mounting for Phones and Cameras

The included bracket and multi-directional ball head mount allow the phone to pivot at any angle while keeping a grip clear of the camera lens. For DSLR use, the phone clamp and ball head can be removed so the bracket screws directly into the camera tripod mount. The FR-310 then mounts onto the camera or onto one of the cold shoe mounts on the bracket.

Directional Audio with Monitoring Option

The FR-310 shotgun microphone captures focused audio for video or audio-only recording. A supplied Y-cable with a 3.5mm jack connects the microphone to the mobile device and provides a headphone jack for real-time audio monitoring on supported apps. This kit suits creators needing better sound than built-in mics but does not address needs for wireless transmission or multi-channel recording.
