The Thomasville Lighting YQ-CGD-2C kit includes two 12-inch bars with a built-in PIR motion sensor that activates within a 10-foot range and shuts off automatically when no movement is detected. Designed for indoor or outdoor use, the lights are recommended for dim or night-time areas such as closets, pantries and hallways where hands-free illumination is most useful. A 16-inch power cord on each fixture gives flexible placement without an electrician. The sensor will not trigger in bright daylight conditions.

Tool-Free Build Integration

Each bar weighs 0.209 kilograms and mounts in minutes using the supplied 3M adhesive tape, so no screws or brackets are required. The ultra-slim acrylic body sits flush under cabinets, on bookshelves or above workbenches, freeing up counter space that a bulkier fixture would occupy. Linkable design lets the two units run from one outlet, reducing cable clutter. No wiring, junction boxes or transformer calculations are needed for installation.

Sustained Output Behaviour

Two fixtures combine for 550 lumens of 6000K white light while drawing only 7 watts, matching the brightness of a traditional 40-watt source. Stepless dimming from 0 to 100 percent is handled by a three-button switch that remembers the last level, so the lights resume at the same intensity after every auto shut-off cycle. The low power draw keeps the aluminium housing cool during continuous evening use, avoiding the heat build-up that shortens component life in higher-wattage strips.
