Cat6 Riser Cable for Multi-Floor Runs

This Cat6 riser (CMR) cable is built for indoor vertical installations between floors and inside walls where mild flame retardance is required. It uses 23 AWG solid bare copper conductors for stronger signal integrity and better conductivity than copper-clad alternatives. The bulk 1000-foot pull box suits installers wiring offices, schools or homes.

Bandwidth Headroom and Speed Limits

Rated to 550 MHz, the cable supports 1 and 5 Gigabit speeds up to 328 feet and 10 Gigabit up to 165 feet depending on the installation environment. Beyond those distances the 10 Gigabit margin drops, so plan runs accordingly. It also carries PoE, PoE+ and PoE++ (IEEE 802.3af/at/bt) up to 60 W and 300 V DC for cameras, access points and phones.

Solid Copper Build and Pull-Box Convenience

Four unshielded twisted pairs of solid bare copper reduce attenuation and resist corrosion over time. The CMR jacket is yellow for quick identification in cable trays and meets riser fire-safety requirements for non-plenum spaces. A tangle-free 1000-foot (305-meter) easy-pull box lets installers pull cable cleanly without knots or snags during long runs.
