Three-Position AGU Distribution Block

The AGUDB-3 splits a single power feed into three protected branches for car audio amplifiers or accessories. Each position accepts a 4-gauge input and steps down to an 8-gauge output, simplifying wiring in multi-amp installations. The heat-resistant base and clear cover shield connections from engine-bay heat and debris. Gold-plated contacts resist corrosion for reliable conductivity.

Sustained Current Handling

Five 120 amp AGU fuses are included, one per position plus spares, so each branch can carry continuous loads up to the fuse rating without nuisance blowing. The gold-plated fuse elements maintain low resistance during extended play, reducing voltage drop across the block. Heat-resistant materials prevent the base from softening during long listening sessions. The clear cover allows visual confirmation that all fuses remain intact.

AGU Fuse Format Limits

The AGU cartridge standard caps individual branch protection at the supplied 120 amp rating, so systems demanding higher per-channel current must use a different fuse class. Three positions limit the block to three amplifiers or accessory groups; larger builds need additional distribution blocks. The 4-gauge input maximum restricts total combined current to what that conductor can safely supply. Universal compatibility means the installer must verify wire gauge and fuse coordination for each application.
