The TeKit GM8805 is a digital carbon monoxide detector built for professionals who need to monitor CO levels in industrial environments such as petroleum, chemical, coal mining and firefighting applications. It provides a measuring range of 0-1000ppm with a resolution of 1ppm and a basic error of +/-5% full scale or +/-10ppm. The sensor responds in 60 seconds and the unit automatically powers down after 10 minutes of inactivity.

Power and Setup Checks

This meter runs on two 1.5v AAA batteries which are not included in the package, so you must source them before first use. Verify the DC polarity indicator on the device matches your battery orientation to avoid damage. The LCD backlight and audible alarm functions draw additional current, so fresh cells are recommended for reliable operation during extended shifts.
