The TeKit GM630 is a handheld digital meter that uses inductive sensing to read wood moisture content from 0% to 50% and temperature from 0 to 50°C. It offers eight selectable density gears covering a wood density range of 0.27 to 1.05 g/cm³ and a detection depth up to 50 mm. A backlit LCD shows readings, battery status and supports Celsius or Fahrenheit display.

Accuracy falls outside the ±1.5% moisture and ±2°C temperature tolerances, and the inductive pad cannot penetrate deeper than 50 mm, limiting use on very thick sections or denser species.
