The Taylor 2.0 WiFi hygrometer thermometer pack includes a gateway and six sensors that connect through a single app. Each sensor measures temperature within ±0.54°F and humidity within ±3% RH, updating every two seconds. The system suits households that want simultaneous readings from bedrooms, wine cellars, basements or greenhouses without running cables between rooms.

Gateway Limited to 2.4 GHz Networks

The supplied gateway only joins 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi bands and will not associate with 5 GHz or 6 GHz radios. It can pair up to ten sensors in total, so the six included units leave room for four more. Bluetooth range reaches 262 feet line-of-sight, but walls and floors reduce that distance. Data is stored locally for twenty days and in the cloud for two years, then exported as needed.

Check Router Band and Gateway Model Before Buying

Verify that your router broadcasts a dedicated 2.4 GHz SSID or allows band separation; a combined 2.4/5 GHz network often prevents pairing. The sensors require the specific gateway models H5151 or H5042 — other Taylor or third-party gateways will not work. Each sensor ships with two AAA batteries rated for two years of operation, so have spares ready for future changes.
