The Targus 4Vu privacy screen attaches to 13.3 inch widescreen displays using reusable silicon adhesive strips or included tab guides. It narrows the viewing angle to 30 degrees from centre so only the user sees clear content. Onlookers from side positions see a dark, unclear screen instead.

Viewing angle limited to 30 degrees

The filter works by using tiny vertical blinds that restrict visibility to a 30 degree cone directly in front of the monitor. Anyone viewing from beyond this angle sees only a darkened surface. This physical constraint means the screen protects data only when the user sits centred; it does not prevent viewing from directly behind or at wider angles.

Choose glossy or matte finish

The reversible screen offers a glossy side for clarity and a matte side to reduce reflections, letting you pick the surface that matches your lighting conditions. It also filters blue light and includes an anti-reflective coating. The panel is over 12 percent brighter than competitive solutions, helping maintain screen visibility while the filter is applied.
