Rod adapter for ARRI and RED cameras

The SZJELEN 15mm/19mm rod adapter connects a wireless focusing motor manager to industry-standard rod systems. It is built for camera operators and assistants who need to mount motor controllers on either 19mm or 15mm support rods. The kit includes a thickened 19mm to 15mm reducer tube and a dedicated 15mm rod mounting bracket. This hardware suits professional cinema rigs where motor positioning must be precise and secure.

Dual-diameter clamp with wing screws

The machined 19mm clamp accepts the larger rods directly and uses removable bushings to step down to 15mm diameter without tools. Wing screws on the clamp allow quick opening, adjustment and locking by hand, so motor engagement can be fine-tuned on set. The thickened reducer tube adds rigidity between the two rod standards, reducing flex during focus pulls. An adjustable-angle joint lets the motor manager sit at the ergonomic angle required by the operator.

Limited to 15mm and 19mm rod standards

The adapter only works with 15mm and 19mm diameter rods; it cannot mount to other diameters or non-cylindrical supports. Compatibility is stated for ARRI and RED camera systems, so integration with other cinema platforms is not guaranteed by the manufacturer. The mechanical interface provides no electronic communication between the motor manager and the camera body. Users requiring different rod spacings or electronic lens-data pass-through must source separate accessories.
