MagSafe ring grip for iPhone 12 through 17

The Syncwire Nexus 5 ring grip attaches magnetically to MagSafe-compatible iPhones from the 12 series up to the 17 series. It uses N55 NdFeB magnets that hold the phone with up to 1.4 kg of force on the phone-facing side. A supplied metal ring can increase that force to 5 kg for non-MagSafe cases. The back of the holder grips ferrous surfaces such as fridge doors or gym equipment with up to 1 kg of holding power.

Sustained hold on magnetic surfaces

The double-sided magnetic design lets the ring stay on the phone while it is docked on a MagSafe car mount, so you do not need to remove the accessory when switching between hand grip and vehicle mount. Lab testing rates the hinge mechanism at over 6000 fold cycles without loosening, indicating the pivot will not develop play during daily open-close use. Grip strength on painted or coated metal surfaces may be lower than on bare iron, so vertical mounts on appliances should be checked before relying on them long-term.

Slim profile and simple alignment

At 0.16 inches thick and 26 grams, the ring adds minimal bulk and slides into pockets easily. Installation is a matter of aligning the magnets with the phone or the included metal ring; no adhesives or tools are required. The ring must be removed before wireless charging because the metal interferes with the charging coil. Keeping the contact surfaces free of dust reduces the chance of fine scratches on the phone or case during repeated attachment and removal.
