Power delivery for Blackmagic Pocket 4K

This coiled cable connects a D-Tap power source to the 2-pin DC input on a Blackmagic Design Pocket 4K camera. It accepts an unregulated DC input range of 11-28V and passes power directly to the camera. Coiled cable thermals and handling

The passive coiled design adds no active cooling, noise or power draw of its own. Heat generation is limited to normal resistive losses in the conductors during operation. The coil expands from 18 inches to 48 inches, reducing strain on connectors when the camera moves. Its unregulated output simply passes the source voltage through, so thermal behaviour depends entirely on the attached power supply and camera load.

Replaces fixed-length D-Tap leads

This cable upgrades from short, rigid D-Tap cables that restrict battery placement or create trip hazards on set. The variable length lets operators position V-mount or Gold-mount batteries at a comfortable distance from the camera body. The jump is worth it when shooting handheld, on gimbals or in tight locations where a fixed 18-inch lead would pull on the camera or limit rig configuration.
