The Swift Green SGF-96-06 VOC-L-S-B is a commercial-grade replacement cartridge designed for compatible water filtration and dispenser systems. It fits a wide range of models including OCS 2, 2H-L, OW2-PLUS and numerous Everpure part numbers such as EV9634-26 and EV9730-06. This single-pack unit supplies fresh, clean drinking water for both commercial and residential installations. Buyers needing a different micron rating or a non-compatible proprietary cartridge should look elsewhere.

NSF/ANSI 42 & 53 Certified Filtration

The cartridge meets NSF/ANSI standards 42 and 53 as certified by IAPMO for material safety and contaminant reduction. It reduces volatile organic compounds, chlorine and chloramine taste and odor, cysts, lead, sediment and scale at a 1 micron nominal rating. Maximum operating pressure is 138 psi with a flow rate of 1.0 GPM. The coconut shell carbon block uses linear compression technology to maintain consistent flow and contact time. Systems requiring a higher flow rate or different certification standards will not be served by this filter.

Simple Twist-In Replacement

Installation typically involves shutting off the water supply, relieving pressure, twisting out the spent cartridge and twisting in the new unit until it seats firmly. Flush the new cartridge for several minutes to clear carbon fines before use. Common issues include forgetting to depressurise the line, which can cause leaks, or failing to flush adequately, resulting in cloudy water initially. Ensure the O-ring is seated correctly and the housing is not cross-threaded to prevent bypass or drips.
