The SuppliesMax HEWCF289X-MICR cartridge is a high-yield black toner designed for magnetic ink character recognition. It targets businesses and financial offices that print cheques or barcodes requiring bank-compliant MICR output. The cartridge replaces the HP CF289X-MICR and fits a range of HP LaserJet Enterprise M507 and M528 series printers as well as Troy MICR models. It is supplied new and rated for approximately 10000 pages at five percent coverage.

Yield and voltage constraints

The page yield of 10000 is measured at the industry standard five percent coverage; heavier graphics or dense text will reduce the actual page count. Magnetic toner formulation must meet strict signal-strength standards for cheque clearing, so print quality cannot be traded for higher volume.
