Supermicro
Adds dual 25GbE SFP28 and dual 10GbE RJ45 ports in a SIOM module with RoCE and SR-IOV support
The Supermicro AOC-MH25G-M2S2TM is a Super I/O Module (SIOM) that adds two 25 GbE SFP28 ports and two 10 GbE RJ45 ports to compatible Supermicro servers. It uses a Mellanox ConnectX-4 Lx EN controller for the 25 GbE links and an Intel X550-AT2 controller for the 10GBase-T links, giving a single slot mixed-speed connectivity.
This card suits administrators who need both 25 GbE uplinks and 10 GbE RJ45 connections in one SIOM slot, especially in virtualised clusters using SR-IOV and RDMA over Converged Ethernet on the 25 GbE side. Buyers who only require 10 GbE RJ45 or only 25 GbE SFP28 should look at single-controller adapters that match their exact port requirement.
The dual 25 GbE ports handle 25, 10 and 1 GbE speeds with 9.6 KB jumbo frames, hardware offloads for NVGRE, VXLAN and GENEVE, and low-latency RoCE. The dual 10 GbE RJ45 ports provide 10GBase-T connectivity with NC-SI remote management. Both controllers support IEEE 802.3ad link aggregation, 802.1Q VLAN tagging and 1588v2 precision timing.
No published specifications for this item yet.
The adapter uses the Super I/O Module (SIOM) form factor, so it requires a compatible Supermicro motherboard with an SIOM slot.
The 10GbE controller supports 10GbE and 1GbE speeds; 1GbE operation is possible on Cat5e.
The Mellanox ConnectX-4 Lx controller supports RoCE; check driver settings or use ibv_devinfo to confirm RDMA is active.
