Universal 2U rack rails

These 2U server-rack rails convert non-rackmount equipment such as desktop servers, networking gear or KVM switches into rackmount hardware. The open-frame design uses three crossbars to cradle the device, and multiple mounting patterns secure equipment that already has mounting holes. They install in any standard 19-inch EIA-310 rack without consuming an extra 1U of space.

Sustained load behaviour

The sturdy crossbars provide continuous support for the mounted equipment during extended operation in a fixed position. No moving parts or sliding mechanisms are present, so the load remains stable without mechanical wear over time. The rails maintain their structural integrity under constant weight as long as the rack itself is properly secured.

EIA-310 compliance

This TAA-compliant product adheres to the EIA-310 standard for 19-inch rackmount equipment, which is the single specification that determines whether the rails will fit a given rack. Buyers whose racks follow a different mounting standard or who need adjustable-depth sliding rails cannot use this fixed universal design.
