Shielded inline Cat6a coupler joins two RJ45 cables, supports 10 Gbps up to 100 m with EMI protection and 750 mating cycles
This shielded RJ45 coupler joins two Cat6a patch cables to extend a run up to 100 metres while maintaining 10 Gbps throughput. The passive, metal-housed adapter is PoE ready and rated for 750 mating cycles, making it suitable for permanent installs or temporary test setups.
Both patch cords must be Cat6a or better and terminated to the T568B standard used inside the coupler. Shielded cable is required to preserve the EMI protection the metal housing provides, and the total channel length must stay within the 100 metre limit for 10 Gbps operation.
The all-metal body continues the cable screen across the joint, reducing alien crosstalk in dense bundles. Phosphor-bronze pins deliver low insertion loss over hundreds of insertions, and the PoE-ready design passes power without additional hardware, so the coupler adds no active components to the link.

The box contains the shielded RJ45 coupler only. You must supply two Cat6a patch cables with male RJ45 plugs to complete the link.
It is rated for Cat6a performance, shielded construction and T568B wiring, so it maintains 10 Gbps throughput on compliant Cat6a cabling up to 100 m.
It supports 10 Gbps Ethernet and PoE with low insertion loss across the full 100 m channel when used with Cat6a cable and proper termination.
